Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a man who leaped a fence and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Numerous of supporters had assembled in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected bond between two contrasting sorceresses.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of the previous year in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, earning two for best costume and production design.
